How to Set Up Company Closure in MKG

In the Company Closure table you can indicate the closing days not only for your own administration, but also for debtors. When determining the transport date and the delivery date, the dates entered in this table are taken into account. This article shows how you can set up the closing days in MKG.

In the 'Hours' category you will find the Company Closure table. In this table you can indicate the closing days not only for your own administration, but also for debtors and creditors. When determining the transport date and the delivery date, the dates entered in this table are taken into account.

Calendars

In the Sales Quotes and Sales Orders modules, the entered closing days are visible in the calendars under the fields Delivery Date, Desired Delivery Date and Transport Date. In the Purchase Orders module, the entered closing days are visible in the calendars of the Delivery Date and Confirmed Delivery Date fields.

All closing days that are entered (irrespective of the type) are shown in red in the various calendars. Public holidays that are entered as such in the table of the same name are shown in the same color in all calendar fields (i.e. both sales and purchasing).

Warning about closing days

If a date is entered in a date field, a check will take place against the already known closing days. As soon as the selected date corresponds to a closing day, the field will be provided with an orange frame with a 'note' warning. Move your cursor to the warning (but don't click it) to see what the reason is. For example: the creditor is closed.

Please note!
The date check is not performed for entered public holidays. These are visible in the various calendars, but do not generate a warning.

Within a sales order, the closing days of the own administration and of the debtor are taken into account when calculating the transport date. When calculating the delivery date, based on the planning, the closing days of the debtor and the closing days of your own administration are taken into account.
