How to use 'Block Warehouse Locations'

Goods Receipt

Create a purchase packing slip. Locations with 'Block Receipt' are now unavailable. Save the receipt:

• When using a blocked location, the message "Location 'x' is blocked for receipt." appears.

Report Production Ready

Open the Report Production Ready action and select a warehouse location:

• Only locations without a receipt block are available.

Reserve Inventory

Open a reservation screen and view the available batches:

• Batches at locations with 'Block Reservation' remain visible.
• Reservation at these locations is not possible.
• 'Auto-reservation' does not use these locations.

Direct Issue

Reserve inventory via 'Direct Issue':

• When 'Block Issue' is active, the issue is blocked and the message "Location 'x' is blocked for issue." appears.

Pick List

Go to the Pick List action. Lines with inventory at locations with 'Block Issue' are not allowed. Save the pick list:

• An additional check takes place when saving.
• When 'Block Issue' is active, the issue is blocked and the message "Location 'x' is blocked for issue." appears.

Returns

Process a return:

• Receipt is only possible at locations without a receipt block.
• If the location is blocked for receipt, the message "Location 'x' is blocked for receipt." appears.

Batch Relocation

Perform a batch relocation.

• Batch relocation is always allowed, regardless of any set blocks.
