The schedule for the software updates for MKG3 and the MKG5 Cloud is shown in the table below. This schedule is final. During an update, usually between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM, you unfortunately cannot use MKG. We appreciate your understanding.

Scheduled and unscheduled updates

The software updates for the MKG Clouds are planned well in advance. This way, you know in time when to expect a short period of downtime. On the day of the update, you will receive a notification via the software. Occasionally, it happens that an urgent software change must be implemented in the meantime. You will also receive a notification via the software for this unscheduled update, a patch.

 

Update policy for clouds and on-premise

The version we make available on the MKG Clouds is a version that has already been in use for some time by customers with their own server (on premise). This minimizes the risk that the cloud environment will require an additional patch. Generally, a cloud version becomes available one cycle later than the on-premise version. As a rule of thumb, we also apply that customers with their own server receive an update approximately in the same period as the cloud update is scheduled. Customers with their own server receive the latest version, while at that time the version from the previous cycle is installed on the MKG Clouds.
