Reservation is the linking of the current or expected stock batches to the demand. This resolves or fulfills the demand. When reserving, the available stock is taken into account.

The two inventory models 'Anonymous Release' and 'Closed Batch Registration' can be used alongside each other. It is important to understand how inventory is calculated in both models.

In the Batch Management module, you manage all active batches. These are the batches that have not yet been completed logistically and financially.
