Sorting in 'Adjust Sequence'

We have added sorting functionality to the Adjust Sequence feature. It is now possible to sort on 2 database fields, with the option to choose ascending or descending sorting per field. So you can select sorting for all fields available in the relevant module. If you choose a second sorting after the first, this second sorting will be applied within the first sorting.

 

How does it work?

 

1	Click the Adjust Sequence button.

2	Check the 'Renumber Lines' option.

3	Adjust the start number and step size if desired.

4	Select a database field for the First Sorting and for the Second Sorting, if desired.

5	Click OK. The sorting will be applied immediately.

 

The sorting functionality is available for the sales quote line, sales order line, purchase order line, production order subassembly, production order material PC, production order operation PC, BOM, BOM line, BOM operation, BOM material, calculation line, calculation operation, and calculation material.
